The publication brings together the perspectives of more than 30 key stakeholders, including artists, scientists, local creators, researchers, and staff at cultural institutions on both sides of the Atlantic, thereby consolidating an ecosystem of shared knowledge between Europe and Latin America. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The main body of the publication is organized into three main sections that address different aspects of the program.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first, \u201cEthics and Methodologies,\u201d compiles the collective writing exercises and synchronous reflection processes carried out by the host organizations in South America (referred to as <em>\u201ctwins\u201d<\/em>) and their European counterparts. This section defines the ethical foundations and the project\u2019s stance regarding territory and ownership of knowledge. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Titled \u201cCollectively,\u201d the second section provides a space dedicated to highlighting the urgent needs of local communities, as well as the manifestos, strategies, and prototypes resulting from the program\u2019s co-creative workshops.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally, the \u201cRecipe Book\u201d serves as a technical and methodological manual that compiles tools, technologies, and practices tested by the artist-in-residence. The goal of this section is to build bridges between science, art, ecology, and indigenous knowledge to promote replicability. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, the project includes a series of essays that delve deeper into the program\u2019s theoretical debates and a bibliography that compiles more than 130 references shared by the Buen-TEK community.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In line with the principles of sustainability and low technological dependence promoted by the Lo-TEK concept, the compendium has been designed as an open and modular fanzine.
