The workshop will be taught in <strong>English<\/strong> on <strong>12, 13 and 14 December<\/strong>, and will reflect on <strong>current modes of digital automation of knowledge, emotions and creative processes, as well as the forms of resistance, disturbance and questioning that can emerge from artistic practices<\/strong>. Two half-day sessions (from 3 pm to 8 pm) will give rise to a <strong>public event<\/strong> of sharing, presentation of practices and round table on Saturday <strong>14 December at 6 pm in Hangar<\/strong>. It will be an opportunity to address issues such as algorithmic domination and techno-dissidence, the diagrams of power and the potential alterations of the regime of affective dependencies that sustain social networks.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zach Blas (West Virginia, USA, 1981) is an artist, filmmaker and writer. Her practice addresses the materiality of digital technologies through video, computing, theory, performance and science fiction. His works investigate the philosophies and imaginaries that lurk in artificial intelligence, biometric recognition, predictive surveillance, airport security, the Internet and biological warfare. He has participated in exhibitions and conferences at Tate Modern (London); Walker Art Center (Minneapolis); the Gwangju Biennial; Berlinale (Berlin); Escorxador (Madrid) and ZKM (Karlsruhe), among others.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Elisa Giardina Papa (Medicine, Italy, 1979) is an artist who investigates gender, sexuality and work in relation to neoliberal capitalism and the borders of the Global South. His work has been exhibited at the 59th Biennale di Venezia; MoMA&#8217;s Modern Mondays (New York); the Whitney Museum (New York); Seoul Mediacity Biennale 2018; XVI Quadriennale di Roma; Flaherty (New York); UnionDocs (New York) and ICA Milan, among others. She has lectured at the Pembroke Center for Teaching and Research on Women (Brown University), the Institute for Gender, Sexuality and Feminist Studies (McGill University), and the Global Emergent Media Lab (Concordia University), among others.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The workshop on December 12 and 13 is <strong>free and open<\/strong>, with prior registration.
