The program opens other spaces for the confluence between epistemic and aesthetic knowledge, sensitive and rational, material and abstract, assuming diversities as engines of research in transdisciplinary practice. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The pilot focuses on error (as an ambivalent element that can be transformed into unexpected food) and uncertainty (as a common condition that allows us to stand on the threshold between what we know and what we still don&#8217;t know). Both are starting points for generating conditions of possibility in the production of new transdisciplinary knowledge. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this first edition of the AION programme, the resident tandems are made up of Markus Teller, a scientist at the Institute of Photonic Sciences (ICFO), and the artist and researcher Pedro Torres, and on the other hand, by the researcher at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) Margherita Gallano, and the artist and researcher Lara Campos. Together they embark on a shared experiment where, through practice and observation, they will explore uncertainty and error as engines of knowledge generation in frontier research with the aim of developing a body of knowledge that can be translated into protocols, methodologies or work tools for hybrid research. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AION is constituted as a research process that integrates several layers. The two tandems develop an autonomous and collective work through an initial conceptual research, an autoethnography, visits to laboratories and workspaces, and joint dialogue sessions. On the other hand, we open the process to incorporate contributions and views from other people linked to research in the ACTS field in our immediate context. The whole process has the support of HacTe and the sociologist Andreu Belsunces. <strong>A<em>ion<\/em><\/strong>   <em>  (from the Greek ai\u1e53n, &#8216;eternity, existence&#8217;) is a Hellenistic deity, considered the supreme and impartial god of eternal time and prosperity, without beginning or end: cosmic becoming and the great universal transformations.
