This edition, which continues to give visibility to initiatives and discourses at the intersection between art, science and technology, presents an extensive program co-curated by HacTe, Alba Cervera and Toni Pou, which has the participation of researchers from avant-garde research centers, academics and national and international creators.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We present a selection of 10 outstanding proposals that explore the boundaries between disciplines:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Celluloid Multiverses: Quantum Physics in Three Films<br\/><\/strong>A cycle of films and debates at Cinema Mald\u00e0 where fiction and science fiction will serve to explore the dilemmas and philosophical implications of quantum theory.<br\/><strong>When:<\/strong> From 19 to 21 November, at 8.00 pm<br\/><strong>Where:<\/strong> Mald\u00e0 Cinemas<br\/><br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Quantum cryptography for secure communications<br\/><\/strong>Live experiments by the Institute of Photonic Sciences (ICFO), which will show how information transmission systems work with quantum protocols that guarantee insurmountable security.<br\/><strong>When:<\/strong> Thursday 20 November, at 5.00 pm and 6.00 pm.<br\/><strong>Where:<\/strong> Sala Castellv\u00ed \u2013 El Born. Barcelona History Museum <br\/><br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Art and quantum physics: a possible intertwining?<\/strong><br\/>Round table that delves into the relationship between physics and the arts, exploring the concept of quantum entanglement as a metaphor and as a material for artistic creation. The conversation will feature Carlo Rovelli, Mercedes Mart\u00edn-Benito and Blanca Pujals. <br\/><strong>When:<\/strong> Thursday 20 November, at 7.30 p.m.<br\/><strong>Where:<\/strong> Sala Moragues \u2013 El Born. Museum of the History of Barcelona. Hybrid session between Barcelona and Madrid  <br\/><br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cosmic rays in the city<\/strong><br\/>Participatory experiments promoted by the Institute of High Energy Physics (IFAE) to understand how high-energy particles are detected in the atmosphere and how citizens can contribute to particle science.<br\/><strong>When:<\/strong> Friday 21 November, at 5.00 pm and 6.00 pm.<br\/><strong>Where:<\/strong> Sala Casanova \u2013 El Born. Barcelona History Museum <br\/><br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Quantum Narratives &#8211; Julio Rojas and Jorge Carri\u00f3n<\/strong><br\/>Conversation between writer Jorge Carri\u00f3n and artist Julio Rojas about how quantum concepts (such as superposition or the observer) can alter literary and artistic narratives.<br\/><strong>When:<\/strong> Friday 21 November, at 7.30 pm.<br\/><strong>Where:<\/strong> Sala Moragues &#8211; El Born. Barcelona History Museum <br\/><br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/redacts.org\/lll-open-forum-barcelona-biennal-ciutat-i-ciencia\/\"><strong>Open Forum redACTS<\/strong><\/a><br\/>Public session for the presentation of questions and research projects in which artists and scientists participate<br\/><strong>When:<\/strong> Friday 21 November, from 11.00 am to 1.30 pm.<br\/><strong>Where:<\/strong> Convent de Sant Agust\u00ed Civic Centre<br\/><br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>On Quantum in Art<\/strong><br\/>Lecture by creator and researcher Paul Thomas, presented by Vicente Matallana (NewArtFoundation), which comprehensively explores the complex intersections between contemporary artistic practice and the principles of quantum physics.<br\/><strong>When:<\/strong> Friday 21 November, at 5.00 pm.<br\/><strong>Where:<\/strong> Sala Moragues \u2013 El Born. Barcelona History Museum <br\/><br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Science Night in the Born<\/strong> The great closing party with a program of activities that includes: the concert<em> On the inaudibility of quantum sounds<\/em> with Reiko Yamada, Maciej Lewenstein and Artur Majewski, scientific monologues by Big Van Ci\u00e8ncia, the guided tour Quantum Dealers by Mario Santamaria unpublished, and the live music session <em>Dorkbot, people who do weird things with electricity (and quantum computers). <br\/><\/em><strong>When:<\/strong> Saturday 22 November, from 7.00 pm to 00.00 am.<br\/><strong>Where:<\/strong> Various spaces in El Born.
