The Daniel y Nina Carasso Foundation has opened a new edition of the call ‘Composing knowledge’ to imagine and build sustainable futures. A program that promotes projects based on collaboration between artists, researchers from any scientific discipline and citizens to address the ecosocial challenges of the present.
The complexity of the challenges affecting our societies today requires an imagination capable of conceiving desirable worlds, a transdisciplinary production of knowledge and an active and vibrant citizenry that participates in the reception, generation and use of shared knowledge.
This is the starting point of this call, which is part of the “Art, Science and Society” program and through which it seeks to promote projects where the artistic and scientific community collaborate with each other and open up to the public, allowing new articulations between the two great “stories” about the world, the scientific and the artistic. The call will be open until April 27, 2023.
Together with the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation and the UOC, since 2022 HacTe has been building a nationwide network that promotes collaboration between agents throughout the country in the interrelations between Arts, Science, Technology and Society (ACTS), under the name ‘ RED ACTS’.
