HacTe promotes the creation of the RED ACTS

With the aim of articulating a nationwide network that promotes collaboration between agents from all over the country in the interrelations between Arts, Science, Technology and Society (ACTS), HacTe, the UOC and the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation are launching the RED ACTS pilot project.

The proposal by HacTe and the UOC for the creation of the ACTS NETWORK formulates an articulation of several key agents working in the field of ACTS to enable a fluid environment of collaboration between institutions, projects, groups and individuals with common interests and objectives, but with differentiated spaces for action. whether they are close to research, education, production, dissemination or exhibition.

The diversity of the agents convened is organised into four interrelated strata: on the one hand, the institutions (university, cultural, artistic, scientific), which provide co-funding, on the other hand, the groups to be involved according to the project, the researchers (academic or independent) and the networks (academic, cultural, artistic).

The project will have a shared management, so that the UOC will be in charge of coordinating the research, and the executive part will be carried out by HacTe, which will carry out the functions of operational coordination between all the agents of the national network.
