On 26 June, HacTe will host the workshop Funding inspiration for the intersection of Arts, Science and Technology at Hangar – Centre for Art Production and Research, an intensive theoretical-practical session designed to empower artists working at the intersection of Arts, Science and Technology to navigate the European funding landscape.
Led by cultural consultant Aurélie Delater and artist-curator Roos Dessing, the four-hour workshop will guide participants through the complexities of open calls for transdisciplinary residencies. Through a series of collaborative exercises and peer assessments, attendees will learn how to decipher this type of call and how to write compelling artistic proposals aligned with European programmes such as S+T+ARTS and Creative Europe.
The workshop emphasizes active participation, small group work, and real practice. Participating artists will leave with practical tools, more confidence, and a toolkit that includes templates and checklists to support future applications.

- Overview of funding opportunities for artists: presentation of European programmes and recommendation of platforms to consult
- How calls are constructed: focus on calls for projects for residencies or transdisciplinary programmes, including presentation of the different formats, examples of calls currently open and analysis of their structure
- Critical Steps Before Writing: Checklist and Recommendations
- Writing a winning application: practical group exercises
- Closing and Q&A
