As part of the Barcelona ISEA2022 , last June MACBA became the venue for an important international summit on archives, the Second Summit on New Media Art Archiving. This summit has served as an incubator for innovative ideas, production techniques, and infrastructure development, as well as to help connect like-minded people in an effort to create a unified approach to solving the complex problem of preserving the art history of new media.
With the aim of collecting this deposit and contributing to the dissemination of culture and digital arts, the Institut Ramon Llull and HacTe, co-organizers of the ISEA2022, have promoted the recording of the contents offered during this symposium, which will be published throughout July and August.
