Eina Centre Universitari is a learning ecosystem in which the Bachelor’s Degrees in Design, Master’s, Postgraduate, Advanced Studies and Doctorate degrees are taught and coexist with links to the business, culture, research and innovation sectors.
Our academic objective is to train design professionals who lead teams and processes of social and material transformation, in order to influence the well-being of people and their present and future contexts. Located in Collserola, we promote and develop national and international projects committed to caring for the environment and respecting communities.
Eina Centre Universitari is part of the Eina Foundation together with einaidea and Eina Obra, learning and training environments through transversal and undisciplinary projects. The various complementary lines of work aimed at research, experimentation and cultural transfer are developed mainly through einaidea, its research and thinking platform, dedicated to the development of critical, curatorial and applied research projects in dialogue with the social, cultural and territorial context, and Eina Obra, a space for transdisciplinary experimentation dedicated to training, research and dissemination of methodologies and creative practices aimed at eco-social transformation. Her practice is based on situated interdependence, material agency, relational creativity and diffractive methodologies, with the aim of promoting critical thinking and generating collective knowledge.
Through these lines, the Eina Foundation promotes collaborative projects with universities, cultural institutions, public administrations and European networks, exploring the role of art and design in areas such as sustainability, cultural innovation, education and social and territorial transformation.
