With the completion of the first edition of the AION pilot program, we present a collaborative repository in Digital Garden format that collects and makes accessible the documentation of the work process, the methodological proposal and the results of this experimental research initiative that during the last few months has explored the spheres of error and uncertainty as intrinsic elements in the generation of knowledge.

This repository aims to function as a living, exploratory and dynamic tool of knowledge for people interested in hybrid research. A space made with open source tools, which seeks to receive contributions from the community as a public project on GitHub. We are launching this Digital Garden with a desire for growth and iteration to house documentation, present and future, around initiatives linked to transdisciplinary research.

An embryonic space for reflection

Over the last few months, the artists and researchers Lara Campos, Margherita Gallano, Markus Teller and Pedro Torres have worked from practice, observation and shared reflection on how uncertainty and error can become engines of knowledge generation. As a result of this research process, a body of documentation has been generated that compiles the results, relevant questions and knowledge generated, situated and hybrid from scientific research and artistic research.

Highlight the two documents -with a procedural and open nature- of recommendations for transdisciplinary research that incorporate general considerations that address conceptual, affective and material aspects of each sphere worked, followed by a set of recommendations (actions) to address hybrid research based on each of them.

This Digital Garden was born as an embryonic space for reflection, a collection of practices and recommendations for hybrid research that we hope will be useful to the community working in this field as a whole.
