As part of Sónar+D, the AI Performaance Playground 2026 will take place between 17 and 19 June, combining collaborative sessions at the IASLab in La Salle-URL and at the Llotja de Mar (where Sónar+D will be held) and will conclude with a collaborative performance open to all Sónar+D 2026 audiences.
Proposals are accepted from artists, musicians, programmers, DIY creators and creative technologists with an open mind and a desire to collaborate and experiment with AI and machine learning applied to music, art and performance.
The participants will work under the guidance of Ben Cantil, renowned music producer and sound designer, and Anna Xambó, producer and researcher of experimental music.
