Reverse III: “Experiment in the interíficie”

Next Tuesday, December 9, 2025, HacTe organizes the third round table open to the public of the Reverse program, under the title “Experimenting in the interface”, which will take place at the Antic Teatre at 6 p.m. The session will bring together Eurídice Cabañes, Joan Llort, Mariona Moncunill and Fran Iglesias, moderated by Zoila Babot (BIST).

This open debate proposes to build a reflection on the characteristics and objectives of the relationships between the different knowledge practices and methodologies of technological, artistic, academic and scientific development within digital culture. The discussion will focus on experimentation, production and practice-based research that operate in the epistemological, relational and communicative interfaces between art, science and technology.

The conversation will revolve around key questions about the strategic navigation between ‘knowledge capital’ (prestige, authorships) and ‘symbolic capital’ (innovation, narratives) in transdisciplinary contexts, looking for strategies to de-hierarchize hybrid knowledge. It will also address the management of power dynamics to ensure equity in intersectoral collaborations and how to give agency and genuine value to non-expert actors as co-producers of knowledge. Finally, there will be a debate on whether the digital environment, with its tools (shared platforms, AI) and narratives, is conditioning transdisciplinary research and which models of experimentation and languages are most effective for cross-sectorality and communication with other audiences.
